About us
Eyewear made to be worn, not explained.
We do not believe sunglasses need a complicated story. They need to fit well, feel comfortable after several hours, protect your eyes, and still look right once the novelty has worn off.
That straightforward idea is behind Elliot Vaughn.
The eyewear market often feels divided between inexpensive, trend-led frames that are quickly replaced and heavily branded designer sunglasses carrying a price built around the name on the side. Elliot Vaughn exists in the space between the two: well-considered eyewear with a strong identity, practical construction, and an accessible price.
No oversized logos. No invented heritage. No suggestion that a pair of sunglasses will change your life.
Just frames you will genuinely want to wear.
Designed around real life
The best sunglasses are rarely the pair kept untouched in a display case. They are the pair left by the front door, worn on the morning commute, kept in the car, packed for a weekend away, or reached for whenever the sun comes out.
That is the kind of use we think about when developing a collection.
A frame has to look good, but it also has to work. It should sit comfortably on the face, feel balanced behind the ears, open and close smoothly, and remain easy to wear throughout the day. It should complement what you already own rather than require a completely different wardrobe.
Our collections are built around recognisable shapes, including square, round, aviator, cat-eye and rimless styles, then refined through proportion, colour, lens choice and smaller construction details. We are not interested in making something unusual simply for the sake of being different. We would rather create a frame that feels distinctive without becoming difficult to wear.
How our eyewear is developed
Elliot Vaughn is an independent eyewear brand working with experienced designers and manufacturing partners. Our frames are produced through selected facilities specialising in eyewear construction and finishing, with attention given to material quality, fit and everyday durability.
When we assess a design, we come back to a few practical questions:
Does the frame feel stable without being unnecessarily heavy? Do the temples distribute the weight comfortably? Does the hinge move with the right amount of tension? Are the lenses clear and protective? Will the shape still feel relevant after the current season has passed?
These details may not be obvious in a product photograph, but they make a noticeable difference once a pair becomes part of your daily routine. Elliot Vaughn’s current construction approach includes reinforced frame structures, balanced hinges, ergonomically considered temples, UV-protective lenses and carefully finished frame materials.
We also provide measurements on our product pages because a good fit cannot be communicated through styling alone. Not every frame will suit every face, and we do not pretend otherwise. Comparing the measurements with a pair you already own is often the simplest way to make a better decision when buying eyewear online.
An international brand
Elliot Vaughn is operated by an international company based in Hong Kong. Our designers, production partners, fulfilment operations and customers are not limited to one place. Neither is the brand.
This international structure allows us to work with specialist partners, coordinate production and serve customers across different regions. Orders are dispatched through international fulfilment centres, with tracking provided once a shipment is on its way.
We understand that international operations should be explained clearly rather than hidden behind vague language. Customers should know who they are buying from, how to contact the company and what to expect after placing an order. That is why our company information, support details, shipping guidance and return policy are available directly through our website.
Style without the performance
We like good design, but we are not interested in the performance that can sometimes surround it.
Luxury does not have to mean covering a product in logos. It does not have to mean an exaggerated origin story or a price that is difficult to justify. To us, it means taking the product seriously: choosing the right shape, paying attention to how it feels, and removing details that do not need to be there.
Some Elliot Vaughn frames are understated. Others use stronger silhouettes, richer colours or more expressive lenses. The common thread is that every design should feel intentional. Even a bold frame should feel wearable rather than like a costume.
We want people to notice the person first and the sunglasses second.
Building trust one order at a time
We are not going to describe Elliot Vaughn as a century-old eyewear house, because it is not one. We are a contemporary independent brand, and our reputation has to be earned through the products we sell and the experience we provide.
That means being available when a customer has a question. It means providing clear product measurements and realistic delivery information. It means offering tracking, a 30-day return window, and support when something does not go according to plan.
We will continue to improve as the brand grows. Customer feedback helps us understand which shapes people return to, how our frames perform in daily use and where the overall experience can be better. That matters more to us than pretending everything has always been perfect.
What Elliot Vaughn stands for
Elliot Vaughn is for people who appreciate design but do not need a logo to prove it. People who want something more considered than a disposable accessory, without paying simply for an established name.
We make eyewear for ordinary days as much as important ones: for work, travel, weekends, long drives, city walks and everything in between.
A good pair of sunglasses should not ask you to become somebody else. It should feel natural enough that, after a while, you stop thinking about it altogether.
You simply put it on and leave the house.
That is what we are working to create at Elliot Vaughn.
